LAND3 is the lead Landscape Architect on the $350 million new Fort Leonard Wood Hospital. LAND3 teamed with the design-build lead JE Dunn & RLF Architects and is leading the design of nine acres of dedicated landscape space.

The centerpiece of the landscape is the Healing Garden located near the primary hospital entry. The Ozark Themed Healing Garden mimics the regional landscape. Dramatic rolling hills with meandering valleys of pathways and storm water conveyance. The healing garden provides a space to reflect and discover; a space that integrates with the building, provides highly celebrated entry while offering a retreat for patients, visitors and staff.
